A prominent investment management advisor seeks a sharp Real Estate Fund Controller for their finance team.
Requirements:
The candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the real estate accounting /finance team and will be expected to assist with the structuring of prospective real estate funds and joint venture investments (extensive work with third party tax and legal professionals). Additional responsibilities include managing the best practices within the group regarding financial statement reviews, as well as all other internal controls and procedures. This job entails preparing and/ or reviewing investment performance and projections, assisting with the preparation and review of extensive specialized investor reporting , and assisting with all special projects including the annual investor conference, various investment fund and joint-venture needs, and involves significant daily interaction with the senior management and deal groups.
