Description:	A leading consulting firm is seeking a sharp accounting professional to join their finance team. The Controller will be expected to supervise multiple staff, communicate on day-to day issues with client management and provide daily/weekly flash reports and key performance indicators. Other responsibilities include the preparation of 10Q’s and 10K’s, (S-1 9 and SB equivalents), including related financial disclosure tables, financial statements and footnotes. The Controller will also be expected to prepare MD& A’s, prepare monthly reporting packages for the company (including financial statements) , create and maintain policies and procedures, and prepare weekly cash reports and various complex financial reporting (including Pro-forma, financial statements, and acquisition accounting).
Requirements:	The candidate should have 6-10 years of related experience that includes public and private industry exposure and must have prior experience as a controller. They should also have a minimum of 1-2 years of recent SEC reporting experience and a Bachelors degree in Accounting. A CPA is preferred. Also, the candidate should have Sar Box experience and experience with SEC filing, and a familiarity with complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, stock options, goodwill/tangibles, and purchase accounting.
