Accounting supervisor is responsible to direct the day-to-day accounting and administration for several client sponsored investment funds. Specific responsibilities include:
Assist in the management of client relationships with both client personnel and fund investors
Supervision of PFA staff accountants and management of staff workflow
Review quarterly and annual financial workpaper packages
Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes
Review and/or preparation of annual tax workpaper packages
Coordination of annual audit and tax return preparation with Big 4 accounting firms
Preparation and distribution of various client related correspondence
Special client projects
Assist PFA accounting managers to ensure compliance with investment fund agreements and other legal documents
Requirements:
Candidates must have an accounting degree and at least 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 to 3 years of supervisory and financial reporting experience. Specific experience in the private equity industry is a plus, but not required.
Strong computer skills are required. The candidate should be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
